Coaching

LAS provides coaching services to law firm practitioners and in-house counsels. We help individual lawyers craft and design detailed development plans to enhance performance or to transition to more senior roles.

LAS provides coaching support in these scenarios:

  • Transition coaching

You are aiming for a career goal such as a promotion or a new job. Or you have just attained that position and wish to accelerate the rate at which you have a positive impact in the organisation. You will be grappling with organisational and interpersonal challenges and issues.

  • Performance coaching

You are a high-performer seeking to further enhance your performance and achieve stretched business objectives. Or you are used to being a high performer, but that isn’t the current reality and you are looking to get back on track.

  • Career coaching

You are considering a change in direction, or exploring how to make the most of opportunities in your market. Or, something significant has changed in your organisation or market and you wish to excel in this new environment. What has made you successful may not make you a success in future. What can you do to maximise your chances of success?

  • Leadership coaching

You are looking to make the key shift from managing to leading, or are an established leader with new objectives or a new team. You will want to develop a leadership roadmap and agenda, and develop your own leadership brand.

In addition to leadership competencies, LAS focuses on developing complex problem-solving skills, deep commercial acumen, and strategic thinking skills that clients demand.

“I was fortunate to have Duc as a coach when I went through a challenging career transition into a GC role.  As Duc counselled me through the process, he was a great listener and didn’t simply try to provide answers to the countless issues and worries I raised.  Instead, he asked insightful questions to guide my own thinking.

As a former GC himself, Duc made me more aware of what I prioritized in my career and life, and he reminded me of my accountability not only to myself but also to my family and friends.  His broad experience in varying roles and industries gave me great confidence that he could empathize with my situation.

Now that I’m settled in my new role I am indebted to Duc for his support and guidance.”
